(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abū al-Yamān narrated to us, he said: Shu'aib informed us, from al-Zuhrī, he said: Anas ibn Mālik, may Allāh be pleased with him, informed me that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ came out, and 'Abdullāh ibn Hudhāfah stood up and said: Who is my father? He said:
Your father is Hudhāfah. Then he said many times: Ask me. So 'Umar, may Allāh be pleased with him, sat down upon his knees, then said: We are pleased with Allāh as Lord, and with Islām as religion, and with (Sayyidunā) Muhammad ﷺ as Prophet. Then he became silent.
