((Imām Bukhārī narrates) that) Muhammad ibn Muqātil Abū al-Hasan narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullāh informed us, he said: 'Umar ibn Sa'īd ibn Abī Husain informed us, he said: 'Abdullāh ibn Abī Mulaikah narrated to me, from 'Uqbah ibn al-Hārith, may Allāh be pleased with him: he married the daughter of Abū Ihāb ibn 'Azīz. Then a woman came to them and said: Indeed I have suckled 'Uqbah and his wife. 'Uqbah said: I do not know that you suckled me, nor did you inform me of this (before). Then he rode and went to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ in Madīnah, and asked him about it. So the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
How can you (keep her in your marriage)? While it has been said about it! Then 'Uqbah separated from his wife, and she then married another person.
