(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, he said: Shu'aib informed us from al-Zuhri, he said: Urwah bin al-Zubair informed me that A'ishah, may Allāh be pleased with her, said that the Prophet ﷺ delayed until it grew dark, and Ayyash said: Abdul A'la narrated to us, he said: Ma'mar narrated to us from al-Zuhri from Urwah from A'ishah, may Allāh be pleased with her, she said that A'ishah, may Allāh be pleased with her, said that
the Prophet ﷺ delayed the Isha prayer until it grew dark, until Umar, may Allāh be pleased with him, called out to him and said: The women and children have gone to sleep. Then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ came out from his room, then he said: No one on the face of the earth is praying this prayer except you, and at that time no one prayed it except the people of Madinah.
