(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Yahyā ibn Bukair narrated to us, he said: Laith narrated to us, from 'Uqail, from Ibn Shihāb, he said: Abū Bakr ibn 'Abdur-Rahmān ibn al-Hārith informed me that he heard Abū Hurairah, may Allāh be pleased with him, he narrates that:
when the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ stood up for prayer, he pronounced "Allāhu Akbar" at the standing; when he performed rukū', he pronounced "Allāhu Akbar"; then when he straightened his back and stood up from rukū', he said "Sami'a Allāhu liman hamidah"; then while standing he said "Rabbanā laka al-hamd" — 'Abdullāh said: he said "wa laka al-hamd" — then when he bent down, he pronounced "Allāhu Akbar"; then when he raised his head (from sajdah), he pronounced "Allāhu Akbar"; then when he performed sajdah (again), he pronounced "Allāhu Akbar"; then when he raised his head (from sajdah), he pronounced "Allāhu Akbar"; then throughout the whole prayer he did likewise, until he completed it. And when he stood up after sitting following two rak'ahs, he pronounced "Allāhu Akbar."
