Imām Bukhārī narrates: Musaddad narrated to us, he said: Yahyā narrated to us, from Hishām, he said: Yahyā narrated to us, and he is Ibn Abī Kathīr, from Abī Salamah, from Jābir, may Allāh be pleased with him, he narrated that:
'Umar, may Allāh be pleased with him, was speaking ill of the disbelievers on the day of the Battle of the Trench, and he said: O Messenger of Allāh! I could not pray the 'Asr prayer, until the sun set. Then we went to a valley of Madīnah, then he led the 'Asr prayer after the sun had set, then after that he led the Maghrib prayer.
