Imām Bukhārī narrates: Hafs ibn 'Umar narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abī al-Minhāl, from Abī Barzah, may Allāh be pleased with him, that:
the Prophet ﷺ used to pray the Fajr prayer, and any one of us could recognize the one sitting with him, and in this prayer he used to recite from sixty to a hundred verses. And he used to pray the Zuhr prayer at the time when the sun had declined. And he used to pray the 'Asr prayer at a time when one of us could go to the far end of Madīnah and come back, and the sun would still be shining. Abū al-Minhāl said: I have forgotten what Abū Barzah said about Maghrib. And he did not mind delaying the 'Ishā' prayer until a third of the night, then until midnight.
And Mu'ādh said, and Shu'bah said: Then I met Abū Barzah, and he said: Or until a third of the night.
