Imam Bukhari narrates: Al-Humaidi narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, he said: Amr bin Dinar narrated to us, he said:

We asked Hazrat Ibn Umar, Allah be pleased with them both, about a person who performs tawaf of the Bait Allah for Umrah and does not perform sa'i between al-Safa and al-Marwah, can he have intimacy with his wife? Hazrat Ibn Umar, Allah be pleased with them both, said: The Prophet ﷺ came and he performed seven circuits around the Bait Allah, then he prayed two rak'ahs behind the station of Ibrahim, and performed sa'i between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and there is for you in the Messenger of Allah ﷺ an excellent example.
