(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Adam narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Al-Hakam narrated to us, from Dharr, from Sa'id bin Abdur Rahman bin Abza, from his father, he said:
A man came to Hazrat Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allāh be pleased with him) and said: I became in a state of janabah, and then could not find water? So Hazrat Ammar bin Yasir (may Allāh be pleased with both of them) said to Hazrat Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allāh be pleased with him): Do you remember, we were on a journey together; as for you, you did not pray, and as for me, I rolled around on the ground, then I prayed. Then I mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ said: It would have been sufficient for you to do only this — then the Prophet ﷺ struck both his hands on the ground, then blew into them, then rubbed both hands over his face and hands.
