(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abu Nu'aim narrated to us, he said: Abdul Aziz bin Abi Salamah narrated to us, from Abdur Rahman bin Al-Qasim, from Al-Qasim bin Muhammad, from Hazrat Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her), she said:
We set out with the Prophet ﷺ, intending only Hajj. When we reached the place of Sarif, my menses began. So the Prophet ﷺ came to me while I was weeping. He asked: Why are you weeping? I said: I wanted (to perform Hajj), and by Allāh, indeed I will not be able to perform Hajj this year. He said: Perhaps your nifas (menses) has begun? I said: Yes! He said: This is a thing which Allāh has written for the daughters of Adam; so do everything that a pilgrim does, except that you should not perform the circling of the House until you become pure (from menses).
