(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ali bin Abdullah Al-Madini narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, he said: I heard Abdur Rahman bin Al-Qasim, he said: I heard Al-Qasim saying that he heard Hazrat Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her) narrating:
We set out from home, intending only to perform Hajj. When we reached the place of Sarif, my menses began. The Prophet ﷺ came to me; I was weeping at that time. He asked: What is the matter with you? Has your menses begun? I said: Yes! He said: This is a thing which Allāh has written for the daughters of Adam; so do all the deeds that a pilgrim does, except that you should not perform the circling of the House. Hazrat Aisha narrates that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives.
