(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ali bin Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Yahya narrated to us, he said: Humaid narrated to us, he said: Bakr narrated to us, from Abi Rafi', from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allāh be pleased with him), that
he met the Prophet ﷺ on one of the roads of Madinah while he was in janabah. (He says:) I went back and fell behind him, then I went and bathed, then I came. He asked: O Abu Hurairah! Where were you? He said: I was in janabah; I disliked sitting with you while I was not in a state of purity. He said: Subhan Allah! Indeed, a Muslim is not impure.
