Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: ‘Abd al-‘Azīz ibn ‘Abd Allāh narrated to us, he said: Sulaymān narrated to me, from ‘Amr ibn Abī ‘Amr, from Sa’īd ibn Abī Sa’īd al-Maqburī,

from Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh Almighty be content with him), who said: It was said, “O Messenger of Allāh, who will be the most fortunate in attaining your intercession on the Day of Resurrection?” The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ replied: “O Abū Hurayrah! I had thought that no one would ask me about this ḥadīth before you, because I know your eagerness for ḥadīth. The one who will be most fortunate in attaining my intercession on the Day of Resurrection is the one who says Lā Ilāha Illā Allāh with sincerity of heart, or with sincerity of soul.”
