(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abdullah bin Maslamah narrated the hadith to us, from Malik, from Makhramah bin Sulaiman, from Kuraib, he narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Allāh be pleased with them both) informed him that

he spent the night at the house of Hazrat Maimunah (Allāh be pleased with her), and she was his maternal aunt, (Hazrat Ibn Abbas said:) so I lay down across the width of the bed, and the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and his wife lay down along the length of the bed, then he ﷺ slept until it was midnight or close to it, then he ﷺ woke up and was wiping the sleep away from his face with his hand, then he ﷺ recited ten verses of Surah Aal-e-Imran, a waterskin was hanging, then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ stood up towards it, so he ﷺ performed wudu from it thoroughly, then he ﷺ stood and offered prayer, so I also did the same, then I went and stood at his side, he ﷺ placed his right hand upon my head and began to hold my ear, then he ﷺ offered two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then he ﷺ offered Witr, then he ﷺ lay down, until the mu'adhdhin came to him, then he ﷺ stood and offered two rak'ahs (Sunnah of Fajr), then he ﷺ went out and led the Fajr prayer.
