(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abdullah bin Yusuf narrated the hadith to us, he said: Imam Malik informed us, from Nafi' and Abdullah bin Dinar, from Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Allāh be pleased with them both), that
a man asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ about the night prayer, so the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Offer the night prayer two by two rak'ahs, then when one of you fears the morning prayer, he should offer one rak'ah (along with the last pair), then it will make all his rak'ahs odd."
