Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 981

(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Muhammad bin al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Ibn Adi narrated to us from Ibn Aun from Muhammad, he said that Umm Atiyyah, may Allāh be pleased with her, said:

We were commanded that we bring out. So we used to bring out the menstruating women, and the young women, and the veiled women. Ibn Aun said: Or the young veiled women — as for the menstruating women, they should be present in the congregation of the Muslims and in their supplication, and stay apart from their places of prayer.
