Ibn Juraij said: And Hasan bin Muslim informed me from Tawus from Ibn Abbas, may Allāh be pleased with them both, he said:

I was present on the day of Eid with the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman, may Allāh be pleased with them. They all used to pray before giving the sermon, then give the sermon. After that the Prophet ﷺ came out from there — it is as if I am looking at him — he was making the people sit down with a gesture of his hand, then he came, cutting through the rows, to the women, Bilal was with him. He recited this verse: O Honoured Messenger! When the believing women come to you for the pledge. (Al-Mumtahinah: ) Then he said: Will you hold firm to these things! No woman gave any answer, only one woman said: Yes! Hasan bin Muslim did not know who that woman was. He said: Well then, give charity. Bilal spread out a garment and said: Bring it! Put it in, may my mother and father be sacrificed for you. Those women began putting their rings and finger-rings into the garment of Bilal.

Imam Abdul Razzaq said: The word "fatakh" in this hadeeth refers to the large rings that women used to wear in the time of Jahiliyyah.
