Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: Musaddad narrated to us; he said: Abū ‘Awānah narrated to us, from Abū Bishr, from Yūsuf ibn Māhak
from ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr (may Allāh Almighty be content with him). He said: We were on a journey during which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained behind us. Then he caught up with us while we had already delayed the prayer—it was the ‘Aṣr prayer. We were performing Wuḍū’, and we began wiping over our feet. The Prophet ﷺ then called out in a loud voice, two or three times: “Woe to the heels from the punishment of the Fire!”
