(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ahmad bin Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: Ishaq bin Sa'id bin Amr bin Sa'id bin al-As narrated to me from his own father, he said:

At the time when Hajjaj came to Ibn Umar, may Allāh be pleased with them both, I was with him also. So he asked: How is he? Ibn Umar said: He is fine. He asked: Who pierced you with this spear? Ibn Umar said: The one who pierced me with this spear is the one who commanded the carrying of weapons on a day when carrying weapons is not permitted, that is, Hajjaj.
