And it is narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allāh be pleased with him, that I heard Ibn Abbas, may Allāh be pleased with them both, saying that
the Prophet ﷺ stood up and began with the prayer, then after that gave the sermon to the people, then when the Prophet ﷺ finished, he came down from the pulpit, then went to the women, and admonished them, and at that time he was leaning on the hand of Bilal, and Bilal, may Allāh be pleased with him, had spread out his garment, and the women were putting charity into it.
Ibn Juraij says: I asked Ata: Is it still obligatory upon the Imam that after finishing the sermon he go to the women and admonish them? Ata said: Indeed it is obligatory upon them, and what is wrong with them that they do not do this.
