(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ibrahim bin Musa narrated to us, he said: Hisham informed us that Ibn Juraij informed him, he said: Ata informed me from Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allāh be pleased with them both, he said: I heard Ibn Abbas, may Allāh be pleased with them both, saying that

the Prophet ﷺ went out on the day of Eid al-Fitr, so he led the prayer before the sermon.
