(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ubaid bin Isma'il narrated to us, he said: Abu Usamah narrated to us from Hisham from his own father from A'ishah, may Allāh be pleased with her, she relates that

Abu Bakr, may Allāh be pleased with him, came (into the house), and at that time two girls from among the girls of the Ansar were with me, singing the story narrated by the Ansar concerning the day of Bu'ath. A'ishah said they were not professional singers. So Abu Bakr said: Are the instruments of Shaytan (musical instruments) in the house of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ? And it was the day of Eid. Then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: O Abu Bakr, every people has an Eid, and this is our Eid.
