(Imām Bukhārī narrates): 'Abdah narrated to us, he said: 'Abdus-Samad narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullāh ibn al-Muthannā narrated to us, he said: Thumāmah ibn 'Abdullāh narrated to us, from Anas, may Allāh be pleased with him, from the Prophet ﷺ:

Indeed, when he gave salām, he would give salām three times, and when he spoke, he would repeat an (important) matter three times.
