(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Musaddad narrated to us, he said: Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us from Abdul Aziz from Hazrat Anas, and from Yunus from Thabit from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said that

when the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the sermon on the day of Friday, a man stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah! The horses have perished and the goats have perished, so pray to Allah that He send down rain upon us. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and prayed.
