(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Makhlad bin Yazid informed us, he said: Ibn Juraij informed us, he said: I heard from Nafi', he says that I heard Hadhrat Ibn 'Umar (may Allāh be pleased with them both) saying that

the Prophet ﷺ forbade this, that a person should make his brother get up from his place and sit in his place.

I asked Nafi': On the day of Jumu'ah? He said: Whether it is Jumu'ah or any other day.
