(Imām Bukhārī narrates): 'Abdan narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah informed us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us from Sa'id al-Maqburi from his father from Ibn Wadi'ah from Hadhrat Salman al-Farsi (may Allāh be pleased with him), he said that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said,

"Whoever performed ghusl on the day of Jumu'ah and attained purity according to his ability, then applied oil or applied fragrance, then went (for Jumu'ah), and did not separate between two men, then he prayed as much prayer as was decreed for him, then when the imam came out from the chamber he remained silent, then the sins between this Jumu'ah and the next Jumu'ah will be forgiven for him."
