(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abdan narrated to us, he said: Abdullah informed us, he said: Yahya bin Sa'id informed us, he asked Amrah about taking a bath on the day of Jumu'ah, so she said that Hazrat Ayesha, may Allāh be pleased with her, said:

People used to do the work of the house, and when they went to offer Jumu'ah, they would go in the same state. So it was said to them: Would that you used to take a bath!
