Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 883

(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Adam narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Sa'eed al-Maqburi, he said: My father informed me, from Ibn Wadi'ah, from Hazrat Salman al-Farsi (may Allāh be pleased with him), he narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said:

Whoever takes a bath on the day of Friday and attains purity according to his ability, and applies his oil or applies perfume from his house, then goes out (for Jumu'ah), and does not create separation between two men, then prays as much prayer as has been decreed for him, then when the imam gives the sermon, he sits silent, then for that person the sins between this Friday and the other Friday will be forgiven.
