Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 866

(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abdullah bin Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Uthman bin Umar narrated to us, he said: Yunus informed us from al-Zuhri, he said: Hind bint al-Harith informed us that Umm Salamah, wife of the Prophet ﷺ, informed her that

in the time of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, when the women turned the salam from the obligatory prayer, they would stand up, and the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and the men who were praying would remain in their places as long as Allāh willed, then when the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ stood up, the people would also stand up too.
