(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ali bin Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, he said: Safwan bin Sulaim narrated to me from Ata bin Yasar from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allāh be pleased with him, from the Prophet ﷺ, he said:

Ghusl on the day of Jumu'ah is obligatory upon every adult who has reached puberty.
