Sahih Al Bukhari 854

(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abdullah bin Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Abu Asim narrated to us, he said: Ibn Juraij informed us, he said: Ata informed me, he said: I heard Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said:

Whoever eats from this tree, he meant garlic, should not veil our mosques.

Ata said: I asked: What did he mean by this? Jabir said: My understanding is only that he meant raw garlic. And Makhhul bin Yazid said from Ibn Juraij: Only its smell.
