Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: Mūsā ibn Ismā’īl narrated to us; he said: Wuhayb narrated to us; he said: Ayyūb narrated to us, from ‘Ikrimah,
from Ibn ‘Abbās (may Allāh Almighty be content with both of them): The Prophet ﷺ was asked about matters related to Ḥajj. A man said: “I slaughtered (the sacrifice) before throwing the pebbles.” The Prophet ﷺ gestured with his hand, indicating that there was no harm. Another man said: “I shaved my head before slaughtering.” The Prophet ﷺ gestured with his hand, indicating that there was no harm.
