(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Mu'allā ibn Asad narrated to us, he said: Wuhaib narrated to us, from Ayyūb, from Abī Qilābah, he said:

Mālik ibn al-Huwairith, may Allāh be pleased with him, came to us, so he led us in prayer in this mosque of ours, then he said: I am leading you in prayer, and I do not intend the prayer itself, but I intend to show you how I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying. Ayyūb said: So I asked Abū Qilābah: And how was his prayer? He said: Like the prayer of this elder of ours — and by this he meant 'Amr ibn Salamah. Ayyūb said: And that elder used to pronounce the takbīr fully, and when he raised his head from the second sajdah, he would sit and lean upon the ground, then stand up.
