(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Mu'allā ibn Asad narrated to us, he said: Wuhaib narrated to us, from 'Abdullāh ibn Tāwūs, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbās, may Allāh be pleased with them both, he narrates that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

I have been commanded that I should perform sajdah upon seven bones: upon the forehead — and he pointed with his hand towards the nose — and upon the two hands, and upon the two knees, and upon the tips of the feet, and we should not fold up the garments or the hair.
