(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Musaddad narrated to us, he narrated that Ismā'īl ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, he said: Jarīj informed us, he said: 'Atā' informed me, he heard Abū Hurairah, may Allāh be pleased with him, he narrated:
Every prayer in which the Qur'ān is recited — so in that prayer in which the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ made us hear the Qur'ān, we make you hear the Qur'ān in it; and in that prayer in which he recited the Qur'ān quietly before us, we recite the Qur'ān quietly before you in it. And if you do not recite more than Sūrat al-Fātihah (in prayer), it is sufficient for you; and if you recite more than that, it is better.
