(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Al-Makkī ibn Ibrāhīm narrated this hadith to us, from Hishām, from Yahyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from 'Abdullāh ibn Abī Qatādah, from his father, he narrates that:

the Prophet ﷺ used to recite Sūrat al-Fātihah and some other sūrah in the first two rak'ahs of the Zuhr and 'Asr prayers, and sometimes he made us hear it.
