(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Muhammad ibn Yūsuf narrated to us, he said: Sufyān narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from 'Umārah ibn 'Umair, from Abī Ma'mar, he said: I asked Khabbāb ibn al-Aratt, may Allāh be pleased with him: Did the Prophet ﷺ recite the Qur'ān in the Zuhr and 'Asr prayers? He said: Yes! I asked: How did you know that the Prophet ﷺ was reciting the Qur'ān? He said: By the movement of his beard.
