(Imām Bukhārī narrates): 'Ayyāsh narrated to us, he said: 'Abdul-A'lā narrated to us, he said: 'Ubaidullāh narrated to us, from Nāfi', that:
Ibn 'Umar, when he entered the prayer, would raise his hands while saying "Allāhu Akbar"; and when he performed rukū', he would raise his hands; and when he said "Sami'a Allāhu liman hamidah," he would raise his hands; and when he stood up after praying two rak'ahs, he would raise his hands. Ibn 'Umar, may Allāh be pleased with them both, has attributed this hadith to the Prophet ﷺ (marfū').
And this hadith has been narrated by Hammād ibn Salamah, from Ayyūb, from Nāfi', from Ibn 'Umar, may Allāh be pleased with them both, from the Prophet ﷺ. And this hadith has been narrated concisely by Ibn Tahmān, from Ayyūb and from Mūsā ibn 'Uqbah.
