(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abū al-Yamān narrated to us, he said: Shu'aib informed us, from al-Zuhrī, he said: Sālim ibn 'Abdullāh informed us that 'Abdullāh ibn 'Umar, may Allāh be pleased with them both, narrated that:
I saw the Prophet ﷺ open the prayer with takbīr; so while pronouncing the takbīr he raised his hands level with his shoulders, and when he pronounced the takbīr for rukū', he did the same, and when he said "Sami'a Allāhu liman hamidah," he did the same and said "Rabbanā wa laka al-hamd." And he did not do this at the time of sajdah, nor did he do this when raising his head from sajdah.
