(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Mūsā narrated to us, he said: Thābit ibn Yazīd narrated to us, he said: 'Āsim narrated to us, from al-Sha'bī, from Ibn 'Abbās, may Allāh be pleased with them both, he narrated that:

one night I began praying standing on the left side of the Prophet ﷺ. He took hold of my hand, or my arm, and stood me on his right side, and gestured with his hand behind me.
