(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ahmad ibn Abī Rajā' narrated to us, he said: Mu'āwiyah ibn 'Amr narrated to us, he said: Zā'idah ibn Qudāmah narrated to us, he said: Humaid al-Tawīl narrated to us, he said: Anas, may Allāh be pleased with him, narrated to us, he said that:

the iqāmah for prayer was given, so the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ turned his face towards us, then he said: Keep your rows straight and stand close together, for indeed I see you even from behind my back.
