(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ibrāhīm ibn Mundhir narrated to us, he said: Anas ibn 'Iyād narrated to us, from 'Ubaidullāh, from Nāfi', from Ibn 'Umar, may Allāh be pleased with them both, he narrates that:
when the group of the earliest Muhājirīn came to Qubā', before the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ came to Madīnah, Sālim, may Allāh be pleased with him, the freed slave of Abū Hudhaifah, used to lead them in prayer, and he had memorized the most Qur'ān among them.
