Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates that Muḥammad ibn Yūsuf related to us; he said: Sufyān informed us, from al-A’mash, from Abū Wā’il
from Ibn Mas’ūd (may Allāh be content with him), who said: The Prophet ﷺ would give us advice on different days, showing consideration and care for us, because he disliked that we should become weary (or tired).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَتَخَوَّلُنَا بِالْمَوْعِظَةِ فِي الْأَيَّامِ؛ كَرَاهَةَ السَّآمَةِ عَلَيْنَا.
