Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 686

(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Mu'ādh ibn Asad narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullāh informed us, he said: Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhrī, he said: Mahmūd ibn al-Rabī' informed me, he said: I heard 'Itbān ibn Mālik al-Ansārī, may Allāh be pleased with him, he narrated that:

the Prophet ﷺ sought permission, so I gave him permission. He said: Where in your house do you wish that I should pray? I pointed towards the place I wished. So he stood up (for prayer), and we formed rows behind him, then he gave the salām, and we also gave the salām.
