Imām Bukhārī narrates: Yahyā ibn Bukair narrated to us, he said: Laith narrated to us, from 'Uqail, from Ibn Shihāb al-Zuhrī, from Anas ibn Mālik, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

When the night meal is brought, begin with the meal before praying Maghrib, and do not pray Maghrib before it, and do not be hasty over the night meal.
