Sahih Al Bukhari 667

Imām Bukhārī narrates: Ismā'īl narrated to us, he said: Imām Mālik narrated to me, from Ibn Shihāb, from Mahmūd ibn al-Rabī' al-Ansārī, that:

'Itbān ibn Mālik al-Ansārī, may Allāh be pleased with him, was blind, and he used to lead his people in prayer. He said to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ: O Messenger of Allāh! (Sometimes) it becomes dark, and there is flooding (in the stream), and I am blind, so O Messenger of Allāh! Pray at some place in my house, so that I may make it my place for leading the prayer. So the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ came to him and said: Where do you wish that I should pray? He pointed to a place in his house, so at that place the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ led the prayer.
