Imām Bukhārī narrates that 'Abdullāh ibn Yūsuf narrated to us, he said: Imām Mālik informed us, from Nāfi', that:
Ibn 'Umar, may Allāh be pleased with them both, gave the adhān on a cold night when the wind was blowing, then said: Listen! Pray in your houses. Then he said that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to command the mu'adhdhin, when it was cold or raining at night, to say: Listen! Pray in your houses.
