Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 659

Imam Bukhari narrates: Abdullah bin Maslamah narrated to us from Imam Malik from Abi al-Zinad from al-A'raj from Abu Hurairah, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

The angels continue to supplicate for the blessing of mercy for any one of you, as long as he is in his place of prayer, (and) as long as he does not break his wudu, they supplicate: O Allāh, forgive him. O Allāh, have mercy on him. Any one of you continues to be counted as in prayer, as long as the prayer keeps him (in the mosque), nothing prevents him from returning home except the prayer.
