Imam Bukhari narrates: Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Muhammad bin Yusuf narrated to us, he said: al-Awza'i narrated to us from al-Zuhri from Abi Salamah bin Abdur Rahman from Abu Hurairah, may Allāh be pleased with him, he said that
the Iqamah for prayer was said, so the people made their rows straight, then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ came out (from his room), then he moved forward — at that time he was in a state of janabah — then he said: Stay in your places. Then he took a bath, then he came out, and drops of water were falling from his head, then he led them in prayer.
