Imam Bukhari narrates: Mu'alla bin Asad narrated to us, he said: Wuhaib narrated to us from Ayyub from Abi Qilabah from Malik bin al-Huwairith, may Allāh be pleased with him, he relates that
I came to the Prophet ﷺ with a group of my people, we stayed with him for twenty nights. He was very soft-hearted and kind. When he saw that we were missing our families, he said: Return to your homes and stay among them, teach them and pray, and when the time for prayer comes, let one of you give the Adhan, and let the eldest among you lead the prayer.
