(Imām Bukhārī narrates that) Abū al-Nu'mān 'Ārim ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, he said: Abū 'Awānah narrated to us, from Abī Bishr, from Yūsuf ibn Māhak, from 'Abdullāh ibn 'Amr, he said:

We went on a journey; the Prophet ﷺ was left behind us on this journey, then he caught up with us, at that time the prayer had become delayed for us, and we were performing wudū. We began to wipe upon our feet, so he said in a loud voice, two or three times: Woe to the heels from the Fire.
